Shana Cup was the name my grandmother lovingly called me from the time I was little. Technically it means "pretty head."

This collection is inspired by the Yiddish language I grew up around — full of humor, affection, and a little bit of chaos. My great-grandparents immigrated from Lithuania through Ellis Island and built their lives in America in the early 1900s.

These designs are a celebration of that world: family, nostalgia, resilience, comedy, and a language that somehow says everything better. Because when everything feels a little fakakta, connection and humor will save the day.

This brand is inspired by many things: memory, feelings, a deep love of art and design, and the comics who made it legendary — Mel Brooks, Joan Rivers, and the Borscht Belt, where Jewish humor became an art form. A culture this rich, this funny, this full of heart deserves to be worn, carried, and kept alive.
